My major teacher in art is nature. In my ceramic works there are often present animal and plant forms to which I give human character. Shape is a leading principle in my ceramics – enormous colored puzzles, constructions and intertwined cats, coexist with knights, ravens and spirited horses.
My art is aimed at a large circle of connoisseurs. From the exterior monumentally sounding three dimensional art of stoneware, to the ethereal tiles and small intimate sculptures created to occupy a special place in the interior.
Color balance and composition harmony have always been the main accent for me, rather than detail and reality. I am fond of monumental art and strive for architectural emanation of my works in spite of their dimensions.
